Homemade Ketchup from Fresh Tomatoes

Posted by Pawan Saunya on

Homemade natural sauce is delicious, nutritious and safe You might not know that many yummy sauces out there contain a lot of food additives, preservatives and extremely high amount of sugar especially the ketchup! If you and your family are ketchup lovers, invite them to make the family ketchup together. Everyone will like it since this recipe only use fresh tomatoes and all-natural ingredients. The sweetness comes from raisins which will give the darker colour for your sauce too!

Here are the ingredients and recipes:

·       800 G Chopped Tomatoes

·       5 Cloves Chopped Garlic

·       ¼ Cup Raisins

·       ¼ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

·       1 Tsp Salt

Add everything in a medium saucepan

Bring to boil and simmer until everything breaks down

Blend everything with the stick blender or transfer to a blender to blend the mixture well

And then continue simmering for 45 minutes to thicken the sauce

This recipe will give you 350 ml Ketchup, so you can reuse any glass food jar in your kitchen to store it

When not consuming, please keep in the fridge
