DIY Body Oil
Posted by Pawan Saunya onThe weather is getting colder and winter is coming(GoT anyone?). The best way to protect your skin from dryness and itchiness is to apply natural body oil instead of body lotion. Our body can absorb oil way faster and lock the moisture inside easier.
Simply mix carrier oils which known as base oils (e.g. Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil) with your favourite essential oils.
You can follow our video guide for an illustrated version. The quantities of each oil is really up to you. No rules but we think this works best for us.
Make sure to stir well and keep in the dark glass bottle to keep away from the light.
This recipe is perfect for dry skin! Sweet Almond Oil and Jojoba Oil are the best moisturising combination. Double power with Geranium essential oil which can reduce inflammation and treat eczema. While Bergamot essential oil make skin looks healthier and clear.
